What Kind of Cow is This?

So, there is a field across the street from the elementary school in Benbrook, Texas, where somebody occasionally keeps a few young heifers or pairs. They are usually decent looking black baldies. This summer, they have these two curious looking gals that our managing editor, Sharla, is dying to know what they are breed-wise. There is a house behind the cemetery next to this field where the owner "may" live; but, Sharla is scared off by all the NO TRESPASSING and gun signs to walk up to their door to ask.
