Stockmanship & Stewardship Program in Fort Collins, Aug 9-10

Join us at this regional event at the CSU Agriculture, Research, Development and Education Center in Fort Collins, CO., where Colorado BQA and CSU Animal Sciences is excited to welcome beef and dairy producers interested in learning about live cattle scoring programs and carcass quality to its new JBS Global Food Innovation Center (GFIC).

This two-day program will provide cattle producers the unique opportunity to evaluate live cattle characteristics at CSU’s ARDEC facility, then follow them to the GFIC to see how those live characteristics translate to carcass quality. Included in the program are an in-depth look at topics specific to both the cattle feeding and dairy industries, as well as a keynote address that will focus on workforce diversity, training and safety.

You won’t want to miss the live cattle handling demonstrations for both beef and dairy producers, beer and steak tastings, an insider look at facility design with Dr. Temple Grandin, visual humane euthanasia demonstrations, CSU beef and dairy research updates, and more! Be sure to register today!

Other upcoming locations include:

Manhattan, KS - Sept 20-21

West Monroe, LA - Oct 4-5
