Today was a beautiful day at the Stock Show! It was a crazy, busy one too! We had a TX Jr. Limousin meeting at 11:00, then watched several friends show their heifers, ending with our sweet friend Kylee Gaston winning the Polled Hereford Show!!
My sister and I showed today too in the Texas Limousin Shootout which is kind of like a breeders showoff, the breeder of each calf has to pay to make the heifer eligible, them the show pays out a total of $10,000! I won my class and my sister got third so it was a good day! We had a great cheering section today too, complete with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins!
Now off to bed, we’re heading to the barn at 4:00 AM to get ready for our 8:00 am show in the morning!
