This is such a neat story about a fancy chef from the East Coast. She went on a reality show filmed in the Panhandle and decided to stay after meeting the cowboys and ranchers and falling in love with the western lifestyle. She now has a fresh seafood restaurant in Amarillo you might want to try if you find yourself in that part of the world!

Rory Schepisi, a fancy school-trained chef, is a NY-NJ gal and former vegetarian who never thought about where food at the grocery store came from until she found herself in the Panhandle of Texas. She stayed, built up a couple of restaurants and learned to love not only steak but the men and women who work so hard to put meat on your table.
