The Livestock Marketing Association announced Russele Sleep, from Bedford, Iowa, as the New World Champion Auctioneer. The contest was held in Tulare, California. Sleep competed against a stiff Top 10 in the final go including Ryan Konynenbelt, Fort MacLeod, Alberta; Jacob Massey, Petersburg, Tennessee; Will Epperly, Dunlap, Iowa; Wade Leist, Boyne City, Michigan; Dean Edge, Rimbey, Alberta; Eric Drees, Nampa, Idaho; Steven Goedert, Dillon, Montana; Brennin Jack, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and Chuck Bradly, Rockford, Alabama.
