Outside of my day job, my wife Larissa and I are involved in many
facets of the industry. We coach the Weld County 4H Livestock judging
team, raise show cattle, and are involved with cattle feeding.

Dire Straits - Money for Nothing 2). What does the NWSS mean to you? These days the NWSS means that I get a chance to see lots of old friends right in my backyard! 3) .Favorite place to travel?
Beach vacations are my favorite, love getting the chance to go somewhere warm! 4). Most influential person in the livestock industry? For me Steve Gabel has been a mentor for a long time. I've learned a lot from him over the years on everything from evaluating livestock to cattle feeding.
Ben has the opportunity to judge the NWSS Catch-A-Calf show today in Denver. There are 40 kids who successfully completed this project, after catching calves last year during the rodeo at NWSS. The calves are from Wagonhound Land & Livestock in Douglas, WY. The participants are from CO, WY, and KS.
