Chris Mullinix - Manhattan, KS
Chris is from Manhattan, Kansas where he serves as the livestock judging team coach and faculty member in the Department of Animal Sciences at Kansas State University. Born and raised on a diversified livestock and farming operation in central Maryland, Chris received his Animal Science degree at K-State where he was a member of the 1995 National Champion Livestock Judging Team and was recognized as the contest’s high individual. To date, he has coached more than 30 national contest winning teams including the reigning three-time National Champion Meat Animal Evaluation Team and three-time Reserve National Champion Livestock Judging Teams. Chris has judged shows in 42 different states and Canada including events such as the North American in Louisville, the American Royal, Denver’s National Western and several breed events previously at Fort Worth. Chris and his wife Elissa are blessed with a six year old son, Mason, and three year old daughter, Kinsley.
