Arkansas Junior Cattlemen Association Awards Scholarships


AJCA Scholarship Winners. Not pictured is Grace Harris. Former AJCA President Grace Harris of Horatio, receives an $1,800 scholarship. Grace is the daughter of Greg and Nicki Litchford, and will attend Oklahoma State University where she will major in animal science.

The AJCA recently awarded a BUNCH of scholarships to deserving and hard-working members during the Arkansas State Fair Spring Show. Congratulations to these recipients headed to college or technical schools and kudos to the AJCA for being able to award so many scholarships!



Former AJCA Board Member Blaine Wildy of Manila, receives an $1,800 scholarship. Blaine, the son of Justin and Kristi Wildy, will attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he will major in plant science.

Brittany Kunkel of Poughkeepsie, receives a $1,300 scholarship. Brittany is the daughter of Charles and Jennifer Kunkel, and will attend Arkansas State University in Jonesboro where she will major in biological science.

Katelyn Jackson of Piggott, receives an $800 scholarship. Katelyn is the daughter of Billy and Amanda Jackson, and will attend Three Rivers College where she will major in agronomy.

Kiley Weir of Siloam Springs, receives a $1,300 scholarship. Kiley is daughter of Jeremy and Lori Weir, and plans to attend Fort Scott Community College and then transfer to the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where she plans to study animal nutrition.

Bridgette (Gabby) Pittman of Cherokee Village, receives a $500 scholarship. Gabby is the daughter of Bryan Pittman and will attend Ozarka College where she will study nursing.

Current AJCA President, Logan Sigmon of Berryville, receives an $1,800 scholarship. Logan is the sone of Mike and Lisa Sigmon and will attend Missouri Welding Institute where he will study welding.

AJCA Board Member, Allyson Morrison of Mountain Home, receives a $1,300 scholarship. Allyson is the daughter of Blake and Tracy Morrison and will attend Arkansas State University in Mountain Home where she will study agriculture education.

Former AJCA Board Member, Mackenzie Morrison of Mountain Home, receives a $1,300 scholarship. Mackenzie is the daughter of Blake and Tracy Morrison and will attend Arkansas State University in Mountain Home where she will study CNA and nursing.
