Champion Steers Named in Fort Worth

Congratulations to Aven Horn, exhibitor of the Grand Champion steer and Sage Martin, Reserve Champion Steer exhibitor! Judge Chris Mullinix probably won over a lot of Texan hearts with his speech, saying that anyone who enjoys being around these things should put attending this particular show on their bucket list! He also talked about how hard it was not to tell anyone he had been offered the job of judging the Fort Worth steer show for a while. And to show what it meant to his family, his parents, sister, wife and kids all flew in to watch him judge it.

Aven Horn, whose steer was the Crossbred Champion, was named Grand Champion Steer of the 2019 Fort Worth Stock Show.

The Grand Drive had two sets of siblings: Ashton Floyd, Champion Shorthorn & Aniston Floyd Champion Angus; as well as Jaityn Mires Champion American & Kreis Mires Champion LW division

Sawyer May was 10th place light weight Angus steer, she made Tahoka FFA proud.

Georgia Tusa was 6th in class 11. This is her first year to show at Ft Worth.
